At MUNNFTSE.eu we say 'life is work and work is life. Keep on working to help others and you will feel fulfilled. If it is just to make more money for the sake of it, forget it!

I am pleased to see the responses to this discussion on 'Linkedin' but I feel most people have missed the most important sentence: "Keep on working to help others and you will feel fulfilled."

We believe that the old model of work being an "unwanted chore", which must be limited in hours and to particular days, is where the problem lies. Work is also in the house or in the garden but the main thing is that it benefits (helps) those who are close to us and is not restricted to specific times or hours so is it satisfying, even mentally relaxing. Of course we all need 'rest' periods as we need social contact and integration and this is often best done at weekends but executives often play golf and self employed can join a walking group in the week if they plan to do so!

If you have been working from home during the pandemic you may have noticed that the 'working week' is no longer the same as is was. I particularly like Benjamin Goh's take on this so not only should all your work be to help others but it must also be FUN, in other words you should enjoy your work and if not you should change it!

I have slightly amended Benjamin's idea:

'Work is life and life is work' can be a good thing if you keep FUN in mind.

F - Finding Balance Between Work & Play Is Key

Create a mind set that allows you to both live a life you want and to help others. Giving at least a little everyday of the week allows you to gain a lot all week long when it comes to your personal live as well.

U - Utilise Time Limits to Keep Balance On Track

Whatever your realities are, setting flexible time limits can help keep you focused on all that you want to accomplish professionally & personally plus Personal Happiness!

N - Navigate Your Mid-Week Life to Offset Your Weekend Work

When you know weekends include work on your to-do-list, ensure your weekdays aren’t only consumed with work. Getting away from work for 'leisure alone' or with 'family or friends' is important for yourself, but also for both your business and personal productivity.
